Backlinks are one of the most important factor of off page optimisation to rank your website on SERPs. There are many backlinks, and all are not important. Considering which backlinks are important and which links should be directed to your website, understanding no follow and do follow links is essential. Whether or not a website gets to top ranking positions depends on how unique its content is and how much added value it provides users. In today’s rapidly shifting world, SEO techniques can change on a dime—and the worst part is that you might not even know it. Hacks that could have won you a front-page result last year are not only obsolete now, but they may even hurt your website’s rankings. In the past, commenting on blogs and forums solely for the sake of building links was the norm. The reality, however, is that many blogs and forums have little or no link value. Therefore, building links via this method will do nothing to boosting your website’s ranking.
Think about how to incorporate your keywords into the post
On regular pages and posts, Google will most probably grab a piece of related content, including the keyword used in the search query. That makes a lot of sense for news sites, for example. Still, I recommend adding a meta description to all your important pages. If you want
to populate on the first page of Google organically and improve your SEO, patience is what differentiates the pretenders from the contenders. Many marketers are so focused on building out site hierarchy,
wireframing and design of the site that they lose site of content
development. SEO is a huge part of content development, but
when content becomes an afterthought during web redesign,
and the focus is on getting the new site live ASAP, often times
marketers will put the content together without deliberate thought
to keyword inclusion and smart SEO content strategies. Google is better at working out what a page is about, and what it should be about to satisfy the intent of a searcher.
What Other Factors Influence SEO?
The permalink is the full URL you see – and use – for any given post, page or other pieces of content on your site. It’s a permanent link, hence the name permalink. As a rule
of thumb, the easier you acquire a link, the less value it will likely have. You have to think outside of the box (link building is not just guest posting). Syndication takes the credibility of the site you’re syndicating it too and transfers all the link juice and credibility (as well as social proof) over to your website. Syndication is a great way as well to gain a lot more visibility for the same amount of work! The content on your blog or website is the digital salesperson in the organization, and should follow the same brand values and guidelines.
Repeat keywords in your abstract and throughout the article
By now, you should be convinced that you want to be on the top of the SERPs. It never hurts to be #1 in the natural search results SEOs constantly work to get new links connecting to their sites that are from sources of high authority. If you want to increase your rank for your particular web page or website on different search engines such as Bing, Google as well as Yahoo, then SEO (Search Engine Optimization) will allow you to do this. The purpose of SEO is to achieve the best result on a search engine placing your website or web page on top of search engine.

It Doesn’t End After Publish
With all the signals in the Google algorithm – and there are hundreds of them – why would links still be so valuable as a signal? It's not actually
that difficult to get on page 1 of Google in a search (but that depends on the search!) You need to know your market and you need to have a good understanding of SEO and how to use keywords. You also need some time, I'm not selling magic online marketing wands - if you know someone who is, please hook me up! But the blogging holy grail is just this: A quality blog improves your Google ranking, which will draw leads to your website and encourage them to make purchases. Text without headings is terrible to read. Headings and subheadings are the most important anchor points a reader has in the text. People tend to read those more carefully and use headings to determine what a text is about.
